I've rented two Squirrel Hill apartments with Union and I've been very happy with them. The buildings are well-maintained and they're very prompt in taking care of any problems; usually the same day if you call early enough. Their prices are pretty good for the area as well.

The apartments are lil run-down and building has a stale smell once u enter. Plus points: - This place is at a pretty convenient location (next to CVS and Giant Eagle is few blocks away). - The maintenance guy is a nice fella & does his best to fix things as soonest possible.

The landlord is rarely ever available when you call. But the maintenance person takes care of any problems very quickly.

Overall, I'm really happy with Union. Problems are always quickly fixed, the building is clean, and the super (at Aberdeen) is friendly and helpful. I would recommend living at the Aberdeen to anyone, especially considering the location and price.

Sometimes it takes a couple days to get little things fixed (leaky faucet) but the important stuff (tub won't drain/can't take a shower) gets fixed right away. The Building Manager is friendly, helpful, and always somewhere in the building during normal business hours. By far the best landlord experience I've had. The people that live here are generally quiet and nice and the apartments are really big with lots of windows and closet space. Rent from them!!!

Overall property in good shape. Issues sometimes take a while to fix, but eventually do. Lock out service can take a while. This Company was quick to respond to complaints, but if maintainance is needed, well it can take a while.
