The Ciummo Brothers are the best landlords I've had in Pittsburgh. The apartments were very well maintained and very clean with all of the necessary amenities. They were not overpriced, they were very friendly and easy to talk to and they quickly performed any repairs that I requested. You can't ask for much more in a landlord.

Sestino (along with his brother) is by far the best landlord I have ever had. I'm truly sad to be leaving his apartment this year, but the space no longer suits my needs. Otherwise, it has it all. Sestino does all of his own construction and renovation, and he is a great craftsman who never cuts corners. Although the building is a bit quirky with few right angles, everything is in perfect repair and nicely renovated. The only repair I ever needed was a new thermostat, which he fixed immediately. Even more important than the condition of his building, Sestino is a truly good guy who wants to do the best by his tenants and simply get respectful people in his units in return. I don't see him often, as he doesn't live on site, but I'm always really happy when I run into him shoveling or mowing the lawn, as he's a funny, friendly guy who's a pleasure to chat with as well as rent from.
I would recommend his building immediately to anyone looking to rent in Bloomfield. I honestly wish I could stay, or that he had a wider variety of apartments. Landlords in Pittsburgh a grab bag of slum lords and worse, but Sestino Ciummo is better than anyone could ask for.
