Scott was a decent landlord and would fix things when needed. But when the lease was up and it came time to get our security deposit, he was awful. He decided it was time to renovate and ended up charging us for new carpets and repairs, and lots of minor things. He took like $700 from our security deposit to fix things that were already broken before we moved in. If you plan on renting from him take pictures of every single thing, and document when you call him, and make sure to ask if he is going to charge you when he comes out to fix something, because he probably will.
