The house we lived in was beautiful. Very large but also very expensive. The landlord was a real asshole and treated us like we were morons everytime we called for something. We had our toilet leak once and the maintenance man finally came and fixed it but he was rude and mean. I can't say enough about the house but Robb Real Estate can rot in hell. He is by far the worst landlord around.

These people cost me so much money. I call them to ask if I can sublet my apartment, they say sure go ahead, let me put you down on the list. OK wonderful. Two days later, go back, sorry you can't sublet your apartment, that had to be done a month ago... -$1500 Instead of paying for my carpets to be cleaned professionally, can I just get a machine and do it myself? Sure thing, not a problem. Get my security deposit back, -$70 for carpet cleaning. Whenever I call to complain they say that the carpets didn't look clean enough. I told them that there weren't any stains and there was not a thing wrong with the carpet I was told that it still didn't LOOK clean enough, regardless that it was in fact clean. You ask a question and get told one answer then you turn around and they tell you the complete opposite. They seem nice and friendly to begin with, but when it comes down to it, they don't care about you one bit.

Some of their properties are crappy, but such is the nature of South Oakland. The house I lived in was wonderful and Robb Real Estate was always courteous and helpful when it came to maintenance. They were fair with rent and with deposits as well.

To quote the Pitt News: "Robb said he was appalled by the language, and that the website was out of control and unprofessional. "People who look at this should take it with a grain of salt," Robb said. "By the context of the posts you can tell they are disgruntled and will write down anything."" This website is neither out of control nor unprofessional. This website gives tenets the ability to express their true opinions about the way they were treated or mistreated. While I will be the first to admit that I am disgruntled about the experience, what I posted was nothing but the truth. You be the one to determine if it is worth more than "a grain of salt". At the very least it is nice to know that landlords know about the website and it might make them think twice.
