I rented an apt from this man for almost 2 years. The building was deplorable to start. Cold air rushed in through the doors (which were improperly hung), the hardwood floors were painted black and peeling everywhere, the wiring was faulty, no screens in the windows, I could go on and on. The worst thing though was the furnace. It rattled horribly and the thermostat was f'd. My gas bills were insane, He insisted that it was fine. Yeah right. He even 'forgot' to put a filter in the furnace which in turn caused me to have a severe sinus infection which landed me in the ER. THe property was trashed, the deck was falling in.... he would send his 'maintenance guy' over who would merely blow off the issues and make shotty repairs. Don't rent from this man. The $475 a month will end up more like $800 a month due to gas bills and home repairs.
