She tried to evict me half a month before my lease officially ended. After I showed her the lease, she told me I would have to put up with her doing work on the apartment while I still lived there and that I would have to remove all of my stuff so she could clean the carpets. After I moved out of the apartment, she sent me an email detailing a number of charges against my deposit. These included bills for utilities that I had already paid, routine carpet cleaning costs with no associated damages, and exorbitant additional cleaning charges. Other tenants of hers have contacted me and had similar complaints. She took months to get back my deposit. Do not rent from her if you want to get your security deposit back without a fight.
