Greetings, I am a graduate student at the university of Pittsburgh. I rented from this company for 4 straight years and they were great. I never had any issue with them or the apartment. The 3 times I needed repairs done to the apartment they were very quick to respond. I was always given advanced noticed when they intended to come into the apartment. This is the best landlord I have ever rented from and would highly recommend them to anyone!

As her posting states, I did send this email. It was in regards to her inquiry for apts. Between May and August, the number of inquiries for apts is huge, 30 to 40 a day,---each for the phone and emails---and we're a small company. Answering all these calls and worse yet, the emails takes some time. So I prefer to discuss matters on the phone. Emails are way toooo time consuming. So I sent her a blanket response that I sent to everyone else that day (everyday) to please contact us by phone since "I cannot respond back to everyones questions specifically" . Apparently, this request upset her. No one else has ever complained and most understand. I even told this story to a prospect the next day---they were totally understanding. I hope that you all realize that this website generally receives only negative complaints. It's human nature (I guess) for people to complain whenever there is a problem but rarely will they praise someone when a good thing occurs. Just keep this in mind when you read the majority of these complaints! In regards to my ratings from above: I will admit that sometimes maintenance issues are not handled as quickly as they may need to be. But this depends on the circumstance---I'm sure all of you can relate to this from situations at home. Then again, WE all sometimes forget. Also, the response time depends on the severity of the situation. As for the other ratings, I almost always answer the phone myself and check emails daily. So there shouldn't be a problem reaching me, unless its busy season (May to ugust).Friendliness--hey, I'll treat you like you treat me---enough said?? For those that may have their doubts about us, contact Pitt's OCH. They've been referring me/us for the past several years.

I did not end up renting from this company. I have attached my e-mail below. If you don't mind being belittle and treated like scum they are perfect for you! From: paramountrealty@comcast.net Subject: RE: A Property Lead from AF OF PITTSBURGH, PA for Paramount Realty Date: March 29, 2011 7:57:27 PM EDT With about 30 emails every day plus roughly that many phone calls plus showing of the apts, I thought I was being as courteous as reasonably possible without being verbose in my response. Apparently, such brevity offends some people. If you gave away a $100 bill to everybody you saw today, undoubtedly, there’d be someone complaining that they didn’t get two fifties instead. Anyway, no dogs permitted!
