Golberg and Caminos were my landlords for about two month before they sold the house. Their maintenance guy is great, he doesn't delay and does a great job. Unfortunately his employers, in my opinion, qualify as slum lords. They seem to more interested in collecting rent checks than providing clean and safe housing. When we moved into the place there was still rat feces in the kitchen, urine on the toilet seat and, in general, the dirtiest apartment I had ever been in much less moved into. They delayed releasing a signed copy of the lease for a month which resulted in my inability to get a parking pass and I eventually got a parking ticket. They sold the house without telling us. The only reason we found out is because our shower broke the day they signed the house over. My new landlord had not contacted me, but despite this they refused to let the maintenance guy fix the problem and would not release the information about the new buyers. I had to go 4 days with no shower while hosting a friend from out of town. The cross beams supporting the house were bowing and several were rotting, causing the floors to sag and doors frames to shift. I would not care if it was just a cosmetic problem but apparently it was terribly unsafe. Finally, the fire extinguishers were two years out of date and the smoke detectors had no batteries. The best thing is that they did sell the place. The new landlords of this address seem to care about the place and are fixing the cross-beams and some other issues to make it safe.
