He will attempt to take your security deposit. Legally, after one year, he is only allowed to keep one month's rent as a security deposit, but if you don't ask for it back, he'll keep more. And if you apartment gets broken into, don't worry, he won't care, even if there is no sign of forced entry. There is a surcharge for everything (water, AC, gas, etc.) He is extremely rude. He also will call you and tell you your apartment is being shown in two hours. Avoid this man like the plague.

The Sindler properties are a family run business (I use the term 'business' lightly) involving father and sons. They're quite the family and fulfill every applicable stereotype. I have rarely encountered such rudeness and utter arrogance on the part of landlords and have fortunately moved out. Upon visiting the apartment, I noticed that all the windows were open and that it had been freshly painted (it smelled like paint). Since it was a great location for me, I decided to rent the apartment. Upon moving in, the apartment's windows were closed, the paint dried, and there was an UNMISTAKABLE odor of cat urine in the bedroom. On the surface it looked relatively clean, but the carpet and floorboards were in fact SAOKED w/ cat urine. Sindler refused to replace the carpet even though I'm allergic to cats and he initially assured me that pets are NOT allowed in the apartment. In short, I PAID to have the bedroom carpet replaced. He would not budge and I couldn't risk breaking the lease and being responsible for 12 months rent. In the end, Sindler had the audacity to take money out of my security deposit for CARPET CLEANING! This is just one of MANY examples of the Sindlers' unethical business practices. I know they will probably self-destruct eventually, but do yourself a favor and DON'T rent from them!

These people are si disrespectful and rude towards tennants! If you need anything to be fixed, they will find the cheapest and most minimal solution to the problem...think duct tape. Also, they will deduct a TON from your security deposit for things like "dust on the radiator" RUN AWAY!
