Webster Hall is owned by NDC Apartments, they also own the Bates Hill building on Bates St. in South Oakland as well as the Fairfax building at the corner of 5th and Craig street in North Oakland. I lived in Webster for 3 years from 2006-2009. My friends tell me it is exactly was it was then: friendly, clean, wonderful maintenance crew and staff and a joy to live there. The whole crew is amazingly professional. However, it is VERY pricey. You pay for all of that right upfront. It's the priciest building outside of the Strip District or Downtown. When I lived there a 3 bedroom was 1600 but was going up; a 1 bedroomw as at least 1000. Now they pay for heat as well; the utilities used to be all inclusive except for electric (which was lights/stove/etc). Live here if money isn't a big deal to you and if you can get in: there's a killer waiting list.
