This woman was absolutely awful. She does not maintain her apartments. This apartment had an ancient heater that didn't warm the house at all and racked the heating bill to astronomical prices. When I asked her to have it fixed she told me it was new - it was a blatant lie! Then the fridge broke and she blamed me for it. How does one break a fridge, exactly? The paint was peeling off of the living room walls so I asked her permission to paint it. She said yes and approved of my color choice. I bought the paint and painted the living room - it looked so much better. Then when I moved out she told me that she never gave me permission and she charged me 200 dollars to have the room repainted! It taught me to always get everything in writing because you can't trust a slumlord.
