Lived in Ohara Apartments on Liberty ave during the transition to RA Falbo management company. WORST COMPANY EVER. The main entrance to the building would never lock properly, and their solution was to tape the lock back so it was permanently unlocked with a note saying "lock broken, will fix soon" written in sharpie. Not only was this an INCREDIBLE safety risk to the 6 apartments in my building, it was completely unprofessional. Management staff was unavailable to working tenants since they were only in the office 10am-3pm twice a week. Contact them by phone? NOPE, you get an answering service that will refuse to give you a direct number and will only forward your message but not guarantee it will be read or acted upon. Maybe try email? GUESS AGAIN! they have no email address and will tell you their company doesn't use email. WHO THE HELL DOESN'T USE EMAIL IN 2010!?
NEVER CONSIDER LIVING IN ANY PROPERTY OPERATED BY RALPH A FALBO INC IF YOU VAUE YOUR SAFETY OR SANITY.

I can't believe I'm the first to rate these people. They're total slums. The apartment complex was sold while I was a tenant from Liberty Point Properties, Inc., to RA Falco--I hoped things would get better. Nope! When I moved in, my closet door was never hung - instead of just putting it up, they hauled it away. My back window was cracked - instead of replacing it, they left it as is. My shower never worked properly, and now half of the water comes out of the tub spicket, and half comes out of the shower head. I thought that it was just me, but after speaking with my neighbors, I've learned that we all have those problems. The tub/shower, windows, everything. They don't respond to emergency situations (such as a gas leak in the apartment next to mine), and they never fix anything that they say they will. The reason to rent is so you don't have to fix crap yourself; they apparently never heard of that though.
I cannot begin to tell you how much you should avoid renting from this property. They're irresponsible, and don't hold up their end of the lease.
The endless notices I received as a tenant were taxing too. This place offers free, first come off-street parking. We got notices on our cars that if we didn't move them 'today' thru Sunday at noon, that they'd be towed. Unfortunately, they never put a date on it, and I commute to work by bus, so I didn't see it until Friday night.
(And to clarify, I moved my car, and so did other tenants--so that the company could remove more of the substantial snow that we received) and yeah... they didn't follow through with that either.
If you choose to live there, just know that they don't actually enforce their notices and memos that you'll find tucked under your door, taped to your door, etc.
Do yourself a favor, stay away.
