This is the Landlord. The inherent problem with this site is that it has no quality control. For example, if a tenant has been evicted from 6 places for various reasons and falsified information on their application...their rating should hold no weight. A more credible site would be one that rates tenants as well as landlords and matches them up. Tenants would both be incentivised to post and be good tenants as it would be the only way to get the best properties; similarly Landlords would regularly and honestly rate so that they could get the best tenants.
Additionally, good tenants have no incentive to post on this site. It's only tenants with bad experiences that want to rant.

The apartment is gorgeous but the maintenance of it is very slow and not up to par. It took over 4 weeks to get a new refrigerator which turned out to be much smaller than the original. We also lost a bunch of food due to the refrigerator not working and the landlord did not offer to refund us that money or any sort of anything. The ceiling in our kitchen leaked for over a month before it was fixed and by the end of our stay the leak returned and was never fixed. The basement had mold in it which was solved by cutting a hole in the wall and putting in a humidifier but the hole was never addressed and the bill for electric was still paid by us even though this humidifier was bought and put on by the landlord. When we moved out, the landlord nitpicked at EVERY thing from little nail holes to some dust bunnies in the corners. We let the new tenants move in early in return for not bleaching and overly scrubbing everything but still got charged for not cleaning...AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL

Super slow to respond. Deemed uninhabitable by health inspector because of raw sewage on floor and no furnace at all until late october. makes promises he cannot and will not keep. structure is severely slanted. hires incompetent workers. have had things stolen. AVOID!

I moved into the place after having looked for a place for a long time; the place looked brand new and was exactly as promised (construction was going on when I saw it). I have not found any reason to leave after almost three years. Maintenance can take a while to come and actually fix what's broken, but they WILL come if you keep hounding them. When I first moved in, the back door needed to have a deadbolt put in, and they changed this when I insisted. They have remounted a broken towel rack, fixed my toilet, helped me get in my apartment when I locked myself out, and put up with my emergency call when I thought there was a dog stuck in the basement. Also, after a slight spat with my roommates over rent, Kevin changed the due date to make it easier for us to pay.

The only time I asked that anything be done was one time someone drove a car into the gas meter; he had it fixed within the day. I lived in the apartment for 2 years, never had a problem with anything in the apartment so can't speak to the maintenance team other than the one incident. I was late with rent a few times, but he didn't charge me the late fee when I explained what happened. Was very flexible about letting me out of my lease early.

Apartment is Gorgeous. Landlord responds to maintenance requests very quickly. After 2 years of renting we have only had one problem with availability, had to call the emergency number. Highly recommend.

Do not rent from this guy, he doesn't know what he's doing, he's very unprofessional and is spastic. i was supposed to move into a building he owns mid august, he told me the day before i was supposed to move in that the place wasn't ready, this left me in quite a predicament. he did find me a temporary place to live, however the building still isn't finished yet and it's been over one month. he provides no updates and cannot keep appointments. he continues to say that it will be finished in a week, although it's been about 4. avoid avoid avoid
