My roommates and I dealt with James' son Jared, who turned out to be an increasingly larger prick ast the summer continued. He continually dodged our phone calls when my roof started to leak (destroying my mattress and causing me to sleep on the couch for about three weeks). He practically accused us of stealing while we were asking how to return our keys ("I'll know if you took anything"). And, after we spent seven hours scouring the place - leaving it much, much nicer than he left it to us - he tells us that he's removing $300 from our security deposit for 'cleaning'. He still hasn't returned even our inappropriately reduced deposit. This man is literally the scum of the earth. Don't sign the lease without having a lawyer look over it, and if you have a problem you need him to deal with, make sure you document all of your conversations and TAKE PICTURES OF THE PROPERTY.
