When we moved in she promised that we would have new carpets, that the front of the house would be re-sided and that there would be a new front door within a few months of us moving in. None of these things happened. During the winter our heat broke - it wouldn't turn off! So it was over 90 degrees for two months during the winter because every time we called her to come fix it she put us off. I know that isn't as horrible as freezing, but we had to pay for the heat and its hard to sleep when you're boiling.
