I have rented from these guys (brothers) for 3 years now. The property was in decent condition upon my move in. Of course, it's a 90 year old house converted into a duplex, so it's not perfect. They have been great though because they have been flexible about different issues I have had periodically and never invaded my privacy or did anything without notifying me. They even bought then installed a washer and dryer for me at my request/suggestion when I moved in! We did have our main water pipe freeze over for 2 weeks in January, but there was nothing much they could do. Again, the house is old and the whole street was iced over. They did drop off a palat of bottled water for me, which I thought was very thoughtful. They also have been excellent at maintaining the yard and even added some landscaping to spruce up the property. I would definitely recommend renting from these guys though I am unsure if they have any other properties in the area. As a general comment/tip: renting from a private landlord who doesn't completely depend on your rent check makes a WORLD of difference. When you are viewing a rental property and they are inquiring about your life, be sure to inquire about theirs.
