While David was initially very friendly during the first portion of my tenancy I eventually saw another side of him. My heat (furnace) broke in the middle of winter and he made menial attempts to fix it. I finally had to move as I couldn't stay in the apartment for another winter with no heat. The general state of the apartment was dilapidated (leaking roof, ancient leaky windows, ant infested building, etc.) The real clincher was when I tried to get my security deposit back he continually ignored all of my letters asking him to return my deposit. I finally had to threaten him with going to small claims court because he did not return my deposit within the 30 day legal period allotted to him by PA state law. What a headache!
