He comes off as a cool, easy going guy that really gives you freedom to make this place your own - until you want to move out and get the security deposit. He's an attorney, and not that all attorneys are scummy, he knows how to intimidate you by threatening law suits. There were many disputes over the lease and when he had to charge you something, he never went with an economical choice - he was trying to make bank. I came into the apartment with everything completely dirty, the floor is a cheap linoleum, and the tub had hair and other scum from the previous tenant. All the appliances were old. I had chipped the laundry tub and knew I had to replace that. I researched costs which ranged from 40-90 dollars. Mr. Dan Spanovich told me he was taking out of my security deposit $375 because he found a "guy" that could do it for that much, which included labor and materials. He is scum! He's disorganized and just trying to get you to pay for the repairs HE NEEDS TO DO.
