If you want leaky widows, no heat and a general crap-tasic apt, look no further than Clare! While the apt looked ok, it housed a multitude of problems, that just got worse as the winter raged on. With no heat coming in the bedroom and the kitchen, I was forced to move into the dining room to be able to sleep. Also the windows let so much air in that even $400+ gas bills barley got the place above 60. Not to mention the pealing plaster, crumbling steps, ceilings caving in, and more. Pat will try and be friendly, until you ask her to fix something, then she turns into Joan Collins. She didn't feel the need to answer my calls after doing only minor cosmetic repairs, it took a complaint to the Health Department before she got off her ass and had her incompetent "handyman" bumble around. Maybe she wasn't happy that she made a mistake on the lease, that i exploited. Tough. That is not an excuse for this type of treatment. 6 months with only one working burner on the stove, 4 months of being cold everyday 1 year in hell. She's done this to others before, asking around brought reactions of "Oh, the Brit." DO yourself a favor don't rent from her. Just don't say I didn't warn you.
