Chris Larson is definitely the worst landlord I've ever had. The house itself looks ok, but is actually in pretty bad condition. The floors slant, and structural problems have been glossed over. This slumlord bullied me and my housemates to fix the house, things that are NOT our responsibility, on numerous occasions. She also sent us threatening and rude emails in regards to petty things-- like clothes on the floors of our rooms. She threatened to take legal action, and has mentioned that she's taken many other tenants to court. I'm not surprised. This woman terrifies me and I would do anything and everything in my power to avoid her. I recommend you do the same.

The impetus is on tenants to repair this house. Main contact from landlord is list of things home improvements for tenants to arrange and pay for. Landlord's primary means of communication is bullying and threats. Would strongly advise all to avoid.

Comes across as very concerned about and interested in the tenants but she told us that she has been taken to court many times in the past. Things might look clean but are very poorly fixed. She claimed she fixed the leaking basement by putting up drywall over the leaking wall. It leaked through within a week and will likely create mold. Also the bathrooms leaked orange because they weren't repaired well. She puts a lot of talking and work into very poor house maintenance. Also kept our security deposit to make repairs to the house that we left in perfect condition. I would never rent from her again.
