To whom it may concern, I have been renting off Bob for a few months now and this apartment is awesome. I have had the opportunity of seeing the apartment in the process of being renovated, and the after math. It is all new bathroom, new pipes, and electricity. All new windows and has a whole new energy efficient heating and cooling system. There was a leaking issue so Bob put a whole new roof on as well as providing me with a dish washer at my request. I have had no such issues with mold, or other discrepancies as described by the tenants below us. He is a great landlord and he also goes out of his way to make your living experience comfortable.

Considering all the property that this landord owns in Pittsburgh that have never garnered ANY complaints, and from the 3 EXCELLENT ratings below, I'd say that the problem lies with the tenants in this situation. Seems a little biased that it was never mentioned how you threatened said landlord and his daughter and also threatened to poison them with a plant, or that you accused his wife of lying and stealing, or that you called between 20 - 30 times in the first few weeks that you lived there to register "complaints", (which by the way were all taken care of) or that we were only allowed to enter the property to make repairs in the hours you stipulated since you had to sleep or needed your peace and quiet. So, before you bash this landlord, perhaps you should tell both sides of the story.

I moved to this Apartment back on October 1,2011. Just two days later Mold and Mildew was on my Bedroom Wall. The Bathroom had mold everywhere. The Closet had Mold everywhere as well. Half of my clothes got ruined since the Mold and Mildew made them too itchy to wear. It took Bob Rosato 25 days to clean up the Mold and Mildew in all the rooms I mentioned above. So if he seems very nice in the start that is just so he can use your security deposit,first and last months rent to wait over three weeks to fix any problems or serious problems. So if your considering on Renting from Bob Rosato be smart and walk away and don't rent from a Slum lord. Bob was an excellent landlord. We lived in this house for 3 years, with very little problems. The rent was very reasonable (and never increased) and anytime we needed something, he would fix as soon as he could: Broken washer -- bought us a new washer Leak in roof -- put on a whole new roof Shower cracked (and leaked) -- put in a brand new shower Bob is a nice guy, and if you are looking to rent one of his properties, he is one landlord that won't screw you over.

Bob Rosato is a great landlord to rent from. During the entire time we rented off of him, the rent was never raised. He was always available for repairs and made them immediately. The house was in great condition. I would rate him one of the best landlords in Oakland.

Bob Rosato is definitely the best landlord to rent from in Oakland. When we moved in 4 years ago, we asked for another bathroom to be put in and it was down before we moved in. We had a leak in the roof over the summer and it was fixed right away. He also never raised our rent either. We're moving out in May and whoever gets in there will be getting a great house.
