There were several broken things when we moved in that were never fixed even after asking them repeatedly. One was a broken handrail going down the steps that was never fixed. The apartment was dirty when we moved in. The medicine cabinet in the bathroom needed replaced right away because it was rusty and disgusting. They didn't seem to care at all about fixing anything.

John Beningo is the definition of SLUMLORD!!!!! This man not only just walked right into our house we rented from him (whenever he pleased), but he actually SOLD the house and didn't tell us at all. (He showed it without our knowledge when we were out of town and on vacation). The new buyer was moving in and HE is the one who actually told us that he now owns the house and would be inhabiting it with HIS family in 2 days. This was after Mr. Beningo had already collected our rent for that month just 4 days prior to our discussion with the new owners. Which, by the way, Mr. Beningo NEVER returned. He also owns several other apartments and run-down houses in this area. He treats all of his tenants the same - LIKE CRAP!!!

I would highly recommend this landlord. Always fixed things when I asked with a 2 day span. Was helpful when I had any problems. Sometimes gave me free pizza.

I have lived off campus in the same apartment for almost 3 years while at the university of pittsburgh. None of my friends had the same experience many of them hated their landlords. But personly I like antoons,he always fixed my stuff and he was flexible if the rent was a couple days late. He wasnt the sleaze bag that some landlords are.

Antoon's was a good landlord. No major problems, and what problems there were he fixed pretty quickly. I didn't move there untill this year and I'm graduating this May. I wish I found him earlier.
