The only part of Vancouver that I have been to is the airport. I lived in Japan for 5 and a half years and had a great time - I met SCORES of people from Vancouver and they said that it was a great place to live. I have thought about living there myself. But the ratings about a bad landlord in Vancouver does not mean much. You have to give details in order for others to understand what is good or bad about the landlord. I would love to know why Jay Van De Wint is so bad? If you can provide info, I would like to know.

I'm wondering where this came from. I always found him to be exceedingly polite and cooperative. He was one of the few landlords that actually cared what his building looked like, made a real effort to solve problems and fixed things quickly. Best landlord I've ever seen.

Please give more details. If this guy is a good landlord then there should be MORE letters from other users on this web site
