All of the above is true.
The thing I want to add on is that he accepted our down payment to rent the apartment. 2 weeks later, he says he doesn't want us to move in, and he won't return our down payment.
This isn't even a security deposit. It's a down payment for first month's rent, but he didn't even let us move in! There was no lease. We have a receipt, handwritten by him, that says we gave him a down payment on this date to rent this property. Won't answer 90% of calls. Will hang up on you!!!!
Deceptively friendly and nice. Speaks well about how great his system of selecting tenants are. Speaks well about his apartment.
Only wants cash / money order. Doesn't care about anything else but taking your money!
By the way, I'm Chinese so the comments on his discrimination can be confirmed.

The last discussion I saw was about how Saad Ibrahim took money/downpayment and then did not let the people move in. When I lived at Saad's building in 96-97, I met a man who paid 250 dollars as a down payment. He also was not allowed to move in. However, he had a written contract/document from Saad that said he would return the money if he does not move in. The guy ultimately took Saad to small claims court to get the money back. Dont EVER rent from Saad Ibrahim. If you are already renting from him and have a problem with him - Dont be afraid to take legal action against him. He is a complete crook and does not care if you like his property and I am so glad that this web site is here for us. I left Pittsburgh in 97 and I have not been back there since and I probably never will return. FOr the last discussion, I think you should consult with a lawyer and see if you can sue Saad to get the money back. There are many good lawyers in Pittsburgh who can help you.

I know that I have written before here but I never forgot about this terrible landlord. He tried to kick me out for stupid reasons until my supersisor at the Original Hot Dog Shop - told me that it was against the LAW in Pennsylvania for a landlord to kick a tenant out. When Saad tried to kick me out in January 1997, I screamed at him until I almost got hoarse! I told him that I will NEVER NEVER leave until I call 911. I left in March 97 because I had a job offer to work in Russia and took the offer. It was a great relief to leave Saad but I was so glad that I fought him and he never kicked me out like he wanted to. However, I did find out that he kicked out a girl, Erin Doherty, for no logical reason. He has a history of trying to kick people our for stupid reasons. The reason why he does is is to keep the security deposit and to make more money with a new tenant. I also had a friend,Danny Allen, who did not live in that building but he met many other people there who just could not stand SAAD. He just doesnt stop bothering and threatening people. Can anyone here tell me about the lawsuits that he has had??

We are several PITT students have been cheated by this guy before, we have created a facebook group called"Class Suit Against Saad Ibrahim (333 Melwood Ave)", please join us since we need more victims to sue him!
You also can send me email: xul18@pitt.edu; I have friend sued him and won, I and other people are suing him right now. If anyone of you need help just email me, I'm willing to help you.

I just spoke to some people on facebook who are suing him and I spoke to someone who got 300 dollars back after taking him to court. I am so glad to see this but I think that ALL TENANTS who rent from Saad should sue him - not just the ones on facebook. I left Pittsburgh back in 97 and I should have sued him for my security deposit back. Good luck to all the users on this web site !!

Most people don't know about this web site and they really should know. I would love to send snail mail letters to residents. Is there anyway to find out people's names who live in Saad Ibrahim's building?? I am more than happy to send letters via registered mail;however, I must know full names or I won't be able to do it. In the letter, I would just simply write that I previously rented from Saad Ibrahim and if you feel that he has been abusive towards you that you can get some advice from this website. Any thoughts?

In my last entry, I mentioned about a law suit that was one by a man names Jeremy. Now, I just want to mention that a few days ago,a woman by the name of Nila also won a case against Saad - In one month, Saad LOST TWO COURT CASES!! He had to pay money back to two tenants. I hope that all the readers of this web site will think about suing Saad if they have a legitimate claim

I just found out and even saw it on the you tube. There was a whole news report about a man from Korea who did not get the 300 dollar deposit back and the man claimed that Saad was anti-Asian. Moreover, there was also an African-American woman mentioned in the report of attempting to sue him because she also claimed that he was descrimnative against her on the account of her racial origins. I am so glad to hear about this news report!! Check it out on the internet. The news journalist tried to contact Saad to get his view on the story and Saad hung up the phone on him!! This is just an amazing story. If anyone on this web site has a legitimate case they should report it to the mass media! ANDY ROLNICK

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations filed a lawsuit against a North Oakland landlord, accusing him of refusing to rent an apartment to an Asian college student. Wednesday, January 25, 2012.
Please look at the above details on the internet and you will see a great news report about Saad Ibrahim. The Asian-American college student was not the only student mentioned in the article. They also mentioned about an African-American woman who was also taking Saad to court. I just could not believe my eyes!! The whole report was on TV and people now know about him.

Two former tenants are going to speak to the camera about Saad Ibrahim next Thursday. It is going to be at 1100 AM Pittsburgh time. I dont know all the details. I also want to add that there is going to be another law suit against Saad in a few months from another tenant. Finally, the word is out about this terrible landlord!
