Pitt Housing: Getting Locked Out
created by:

When I lived in Bouquet Gardens, a four bedroom apartment, I locked myself out of my bedroom. Since I was already in my apartment, it was terrible because I was so close to my room that I could look right under the door. Unfortunately, I left all my bedroom lights on and other appliances. When I called the maintenance company that is associated with Pitt around 1:00am, they showed up 5 hours later and let me in free of charge. Although I had to wait and spend the night on the floor, they were really helpful and didn't make fun of me for being stupid. Does anyone else have a good lockout story?

I think it's time to get the Pitt/Penn State rivalry going again...it's been too long. Anyone got any good slams for PSU?

If you had gone to a superior school like PSU, you would've had 24 hour support for getting locket out. I never had to wait longer than 5 minutes. Roar, lions, roar.

Well, it's a shame that Penn State's education wasn't good enough, because you can't spell :) But, it's good to see that a school actually offers quick support for lockouts. In the meantime, Hail to Pitt!

When I was at CMU, we had a little song (to the tune of "She'll be comin' around the mountain...") called "If you can't go to college, go to Pitt". Of course, if PSU were any better than Pitt, it wouldn't be enough to even rate a discussion.
