Anybody who has had Bob as a landlord must have tons of stories -- None of them good. Just this past Christmas break, we turned our heat down to 55 before we left only to come home and see that it was at 70 degrees. Our heating bill was huge and we remembered that Bob's workers were coming over to work on things over break. We guessed that one of them turned it up and never turned it back down. Naturally Bob denied all of this and would not help us with the bill one bit. What a great guy

You know, that would have been very nice to even have an hour or two of notice. One of my housemates came out of the bathroom in a towl to a group of 5 girls that were being shown the place. Now of course he is a stud so nobody minded :P but come on, there has to be some common courtesy.

That is highly illegal, even criminal, at least in Mass. You could actually go to court and request a no trespass order and press charges for breaking and entering. Also in Mass unless you lease says so he does not have an automatic right to your keys.

If possible repairs should only be done when you can be there. I do not allow anyone to enter my apartment. My excuse is they will be greeted by my dog.

I didn't mind them coming this time because I just wanted the problem to finally be fixed. However, there were numerous other times when I would come home to class and there would be one of his repairman in the house without any notice.

Mine says they have to give you 24 hours notice before entering you residence.
